The Details

The details, and the emotion they create

We are not candles and florals. Where a photograph stops, this begins — and every line of it exists to produce a feeling. The same specification applies whether the room is a wedding, a sixteenth or a brand launch.

Visualisation: Every project begins as a picture, not a floor plan. We visualise the room before it exists — palette, materials, the built elements and how they sit together — so you can see it and react to it rather than imagine it from a description.
Structure: Timber and panel construction, filled, sanded and finished in our workshop. Freestanding and weighted rather than fixed to a venue’s walls, and built in sections that pass through a service door and a goods lift.
Surface: Paint, veneer, mirror, acrylic, fabric and moulding, specified per project and matched to the room rather than to a catalogue. Edges are finished on all sides, because a guest will walk behind it.
Floral: Fresh, preserved and faux, specified line by line. Large installations are mechanic-built on frame and foam in the workshop, transported dry, hydrated on site and dressed last so nothing is tired before the doors open.
Light: Candlelight where the venue permits open flame and warm LED where it does not, at a single colour temperature across the room. Uplighting and ceiling treatments coordinated with your venue’s own team.
Install: Our own crew, working inside the access window the venue gives us — including overnight and pre-dawn where the room is in use the day before.
Strike: Everything removed the same night unless you have arranged otherwise, the floor swept and the space returned as we found it.
Insurance: Fully insured, with a certificate of insurance issued to your venue naming them as required.
What is in the price: For weddings and luxe events, delivery, installation and same-night strike are included in the project price. Sales tax is not, and is shown separately on every proposal and invoice.

L’Atelier

Founded by Annie & Frank

Atelier AnCarré pairs a designer’s eye with true build-and-install craftsmanship. Annie visualises the room; Frank builds it. The same studio fabricates every arch, wall and table, carries it through the door and takes it away at the end of the night.

Weddings begin at $8,000 and luxe events at $4,000. Corporate and trade work has no minimum, subject to location. Below those, our sister house Its My Party is the right door.

Are you a planner or venue? Yes — register me for trade access

Registered planners can hire from our own store — backdrops, marquee letters and numerals, merch shops, plinths, arbours and props we do not offer standalone — and collect from the workshop instead of paying delivery. We will send the list by return.

Fully insured. A certificate of insurance is available for your venue on request.
